Anti Wrinkle is effective for the treatment of wrinkles (such as frown lines).
Anti Wrinkle is injected into the muscles that cause wrinkles in the frown area this allows the muscles to relax Once relaxed, the overlying wrinkles may soften or reduce. Untreated muscles still allow the normal range of expressions.
The effect will usually be noticed within 2-3 days
Peak effect was seen between 10-21 days
Lines and wrinkles in the treated area will soften, lasting approximately 3 months
To maintain the desired effect, treatments are recommended every four to six months.
Hyperhidrosis is the condition of excessive sweating. Sweating is your body’s normal mechanism to cool itself, but some people produce more sweat than is needed for cooling — called hyperhidrosis. This condition affects about 2 to 3 percent of the population.
Anti-wrinkle injectables have been found to be effective for hyperhidrosis of the armpits. The injections stop the sympathetic nerves (which normally control sweating) from stimulating the sweat glands, and the effect may last between 4 - 6 months. Side effects are generally minimal but may include pain at the injection sites and compensatory sweating in other areas.
Anti-wrinkle injections have also been used for hyperhidrosis of the palms and soles, although this treatment is more complicated. Local anaesthetic is generally required for these injections, and side effects from anti-wrinkle injections to the palms may include temporary weakness of the hand muscles.
Sometimes masseteric hypertrophy is caused by Bruxism, which is the involuntary or habitual grinding of the teeth, typically during the night. This will cause the masseters to enlarge and if left untreated, will cause TMJ dysfunction and orofacial pain. Bruxism is often associated with stress. Sometimes large masseters are genetic and will run in a family.
Small injections with a very fine needle are used to relax and shrink the masseters, causing a slimmed lower face that is more oval and less square appearing.
